To provide absolute budget predictability and align our services with strategic litigation milestones, engagements are structured in sequential phases. Progression to subsequent phases requires explicit authorization, ensuring targeted and cost-effective analysis.
Phase 1: Data Ingestion & Initial Assessment
Application of human-led Automation-driven tools to parse, structure, and categorize initial discovery batches. Creation of the foundational IndabaOne database, outputting a high-level discrepancy summary that highlights immediate red flags regarding commencement values versus current control.

Phase 2: Deep Forensic & Tracing Analysis
In-depth investigation of flagged entities and chronological money trails. This phase identifies potential misrepresentations linked to ANC validity or complex commercial transactions, including suspicious buyouts or entity transfers.

Phase 3: Litigation Readiness & Joinder Support

Operational Parameters and Data Thresholds

Standard Discovery Parameters
The flat-fee phases are predicated on the provision of standard, indexed, and reasonably structured discovery documentation.
Hostile Data Dumps
In the event that discovery is provided in a voluminous, unindexed, or deliberately unstructured format (such as bulk image-only PDFs), substantive forensic analysis is immediately paused.
Transition to Hourly Triage
The optical character recognition (OCR) and structural formatting required to integrate hostile data drops fall outside the flat-fee scope. This technical processing is billed at our standard litigation support hourly rate of R4,000 until the data is structured.
Explicit Authorization
Progression to subsequent phases, or the resumption of analysis after a technical triage, requires explicit authorization from the instructing party.
